Artist of the Week: Lucia Bennett

Featuring home decor such as wall art, decorative address signs and sculpture as well as personal accessories such as handbags, manbags, laptop sleeves, and jewelry, artist Lucia Bennett’s Moda Industria studio products are crafted of a wide range of materials including aluminum, steel, rubber, leather, plastics and wood evocating an early and mid-century design aesthetic peppered with a kicky flair. Bennett is an IU Fine Arts grad, a long-time Bloomington resident, and Bloomingfoods BloomingArtist for the month of December at both the East 3rd Street & West 6th Street stores.  She’ll be opening her studio for holiday shoppers on Saturdays from 12 – 4 p.m. through December 22.  Find MODA INDUSTRIA at 2120 W.
