Bloom Artist of the Week: Carrie Weaver

weekly art

Carrie Weaver is a visual artist originally from Bloomington now living in Colorado who creates geometric designs to dazzle the mind.  The featured First Friday at the Fell artist for July, Weaver’s works were last seen in town as part of the Burroughs Century in February when her work hung first at the Back Door and later under cover of night at the Fell for an exclusive crowd.  Returning for a public display worthy of the Fourth of July, her tessellated mandala shapes will fill the Fell gallery space and spark thought, promote meditation, and convey the interconnectedness that underlies all things.

The work of Carrie Weaver and her company, Imber Design, http://www.imberdesign.com/, has been on display at The Bay Area Maker Fair in California, Harmony Art and Music Fest in Santa Rosa California, The Tech Museum in San Jose California, California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, Arise Festival in Loveland Colorado, Lucid Dreamcatcher in Colorado, Unify Festival in Georgetown Colorado, Subduction Zone in Nathrop Colorado, Sonic Bloom Festival in South Park Colorado and many more private and public events.  First Friday at I Fell also includes live music and food trucks and is from 5 – 10 p.m., Friday July 4.
