On Tuesday February 4th, beginning at 5:30pm, The Venue will host a book release and signing by Author, Jeremy Shere, for his new book, “Renewable, The World-Changing Power of Alternative Energy’.
Well known for his articles in Bloom Magazine, Jeremy has also written and produced segments for some of public radio’s top nationally syndicated science programs, including Sound Medicine, EarthSky, and A Moment of Science. He has also produced several documentaries for public television. Jeremy has published widely on science and other topics in print and online publications including The Jerusalem Report, IU Research and Creative Activity Magazine, Reform Judaism, Reuters, Matter Network, and many others. Jeremy currently teaches in the Indiana University School of Journalism.
Because of his recognized ability to take the most scientifically sophisticated material and present it in understandable and even entertaining prose, Jeremy was selected by St. Martin”s Press to write this book, a popular review of the history, present, and likely future of alternative energies. “Renewable’ has been received very positive reviews and recognition by the major critical press, including an appearance for Jeremy on network television, and The Venue is pleased to be associated with its release.
Jeremy will present a reading and be glad to sign all copies of “Renewable”. Refreshments will be provided by The Venue. Our fine selection of paintings, jewelry, ceramics, and other great gifts will also be on display and available for purchase. Free parking is available in the lot on the corner of 4th and Grant. Join us for this informative and important event.
