On Tuesday, October 29th, at 5:30pm, The Venue will host A Photo Essay, a Tourist’s View of Thailand, by Photographer and Professor Emeritus, John Woodcock.

In 1965 John toured Thailand, and in 2013 John and his wife, Peggy, toured it again. His photo essay is from a tourists’ perspective, focusing on the culture, cities, landmarks, and landscape of contemporary Thailand, including some retrospective from photos he took in 1965. His geographical scope encompassed Bancock to The Golden Triangle, and activities included up-close encounters with elephants and tigers.

This photo essay will be interesting, informative and just plain fun. The Venue will provide refreshments. Our complete collection of Fine Art and Gifts will also be on display for viewing and purchase. Free parking is available in the lot on the corner of 4th and Grant.
