WonderLab Offers First Friday Evening Program on Computer Graphic Drawing and Printmaking




Bloomington, Indiana – Enjoy half-price admission ($3.50) and explore the art and science of computer graphic drawing at the WonderLab Museum in Bloomington during First Friday Evening Science of Art: Prehistoric Prints on October 4 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Artist David Orr, an Indiana University graduate student, will demonstrate how to illustrate a dinosaur on a computer using classic printmaking techniques and concepts. Visitors will be able to make their own unique prints to take home using a similar technique. A small-plate meal, freshly prepared by Bloomingfoods, will be available to buy in the WonderLab café. First Friday Evening Science of Art: Prehistoric Prints is sponsored by F. Rudolf Turner with additional grant support from the City of Bloomington Arts Commission and the Indiana Arts Commission with Ivy Tech Community College – Bloomington, the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

WonderLab is an award-winning science museum located at 308 West Fourth Street on the B-Line Trail in the heart of the downtown Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District (BEAD).
