The Ralph Braun Foundation is sponsoring the July 10th event in
Winamac, Indiana. Hines, who uses a wheelchair, is known for
humanitarian work for children in South Africa.

Art stories“Art Stories” at the V.A. Medical Center in Indianapolis
New art work by Doc Smith (Mark A. Smith) in the painting series
based on images from members of the 1/24th Infantry in Iraq (where
Smith was Senior Medic) will be shown July 23rd, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Forward Positive: Gallery Talk and “Touch Tour” by Annie Young and
Inspired Touch: Hands-On Clay Workshop for the Visually Impaired and their

Art for dementiaIndianapolis Museum of Art Starting Program for People with Dementia
The Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter has announced the
launching this fall of a program that will allow individuals with early-stage
dementia to enjoy art exhibits and socialize with their care partners.

the National Arts and Disability Center at the University of California Los Angeles,
the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC), and the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC).
The IAC, IIDC, and VSA Indiana are ArtsWORK Indiana’s statewide partner organizations.
