IU Mini Marathon and 5K Run Seeking Performers
The organizers of the Indiana University Mini Marathon and 5K Run are looking for entertainers and musicians that would be interested in donating their talents for a great cause. This annual event, which benefits Indiana University student cancer survivors, is taking place in Bloomington on Saturday, March 31 from approximately 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The course takes runners and walkers through the beautiful IU campus as well as downtown and across Bloomington. Over 1,500 people are expected to participate. In order to make the event more festive, organizers are seeking entertainers, solo musicians and groups to perform acoustically for participants and volunteers along the course. All participants will be invited to the celebration party after the race. It’s a great cause and an excellent opportunity to perform in front of thousands of people. Please e-mail Bill Bartley if you are interested. For more information about the IU Mini and 5K, click here.
