You Better Recognize! How to Acknowledge and Thank Volunteers

Think you don’t have the time or the money to show volunteers how much you appreciate them? Successful volunteer programs start the recognition process from the moment a volunteer joins the organization. Learn how to tailor your thanks to the type of recognition a volunteer would appreciate. Discover why recognition is a vital component of volunteer management and how it can be used for volunteer recruitment and retention. Get resources and ideas for recognizing volunteers on any budget. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 27, from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. at the Monroe County Public Library, Room 1C (303 E. Kirkwood Ave.). Please bring your volunteer recognition ideas and questions to share. RSVP here.
