Children’s Workshop: Indigo Cloth of the Dogon

This workshop will give children, ages 6 through 13, a unique opportunity to explore the museum’s special installation relating to the use of cotton weaving and indigo dye in West Africa. After stories, discussions, and a special gallery tour, children will be guided to make their own Mali-inspired designs. The workshop will take place on Saturday, March 24 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. (after short presentation in focal point gallery, students will be in second floor atrium at tables).
