BEAD Forgivable Loans

Public Art Trail Information

The City of Bloomington takes an active role in supporting public art and those who make it possible. Public art enriches life and promotes community awareness and understanding of the visual arts. The Bloomington Public Art Trail combines art with sustainability, encouraging you to walk, bike, or even carpool. As of 2011, the City owns 16 sculptures, 13 of which can be found on the Public Art Trail. To view more information and a map of Bloomington’s Public Art Trail, click here.

Event Banner Program

BEAD announces an initiative to make space available on street poles to promote events and attractions that have an impact on tourism in Bloomington. Exhibition Opportunities Available in City Hall Atrium in 2012

To be considered for an atrium exhibit, an organization or individual must submit a request and an artistic portfolio for evaluation based on the criteria and goals stated in the City’s Guidelines for Public Art.
