THE VENUE FINE ART & GIFTS
PRESS RELEASE

On Tuesday, January 31st, at 5:30 pm. The Venue Fine Art & Gifts will host a presentation by Bill Land, on The Art of Feng Shui.  Bill holds BS and Masters Degrees from IU, and served a professor at Butler University for 10 years.  He has been the Senior Urban Planner for the City of Bloomington, and Planning Director for Brown County and Huntingburg Indiana.  He holds a Certificate in Urban Planning, and has been recognized as “Urban Planner of the Year”.
In the early 1990s Bill became interested in Feng Shui, in association with his career as an urban planner.  Feng Shui has been used by the Chinese for centuries to locate buildings and create architectural plans and interior designs for buildings that have environments that promote health and well being.  After extensive study in California, Bill founded the Lotustuan Institute, from which he has trained over 75 students, taught 9 classes for credit on a college level, published 18 articles two of which were for national publications, and given over 375 consultations; all dealing with the practice of Feng Shui.  Bill is currently completing his soon to be published book, Essential Feng Shui for American Families.
Bill’s presentation at The Venue will be interesting, informative, and fun. The Venue will provide refreshments, and our complete collection of Fine Art and Gifts will also be on display for viewing and purchase. Parking is available in the lot on the corner of 4th and Grant.
